Structured Coodination Games in the Plane
Date:
Coordination is a fundamental game theoretic interaction wherein each individual tries to take on the same strategy as its neighbor. When we consider such a system in a continuous player space, the boundaries of the strategic community can be observed to flow in a familar way under a certain limit. These curves seem to recapitulate the free boundary curve shortening flow. In a discussion with the geometric analysis group at the University of Tennessee, we investigate the ways that these two seemingly distinct evolution processes can be united.
